British Wheelchair Archery Association

Supported by the Trust, the BWWA includes both elite and grass roots athletes whose activities include competitions and annual events and coaching at Stoke Mandeville. Liverymen attend the competitions and have a great day out meeting the archers and learning of their hopes and difficulties.

At one of their last events, Alex Moss became the Association’s youngest prize-winner and the Trust’s youngest beneficiary. Alex, aged 11, came third in his class and was so proud of his medal that he refused to take it off when he went to bed and still wore it when he went to school on Monday! Alex was incredibly cheerful particularly after the splendid buffet lunch provided by BWAA.

The trust looks forwarding to continuing its long association with BWAA and Alex – all best wishes in the future.
